Current transformers for industry

MBS AG, ‘Sulzbach Messwandler’ manufacture currently over 9500 low voltage current transformers of the series 0.5 with a max. operating voltage of 0.72 kV (1 kV for type CTB 31.35) acc. to IEC 61869-1/2 adhering at all times to the technical regulations applicable. The main spheres of operation, encompassing our products, are notably in the machine-, and panel board manufacturing, shipbuilding, as well as in the windturbine industry.

Tube current transformer (ASR)

Current transformers with circular primary conductor for primary nominal current from 30 A up to 1000 A, secondary nominal currents 5 A, 2 A or 1 A, accuracy classes 0.2, 0.5s, 0.5, 1 and 3, optional with copper tube or snap-on mounting.

Tube current transformer, switchable (ASR 2U)

Secondary change-over current transformers with circular primary conductor for primary nominal currents from 200-100 A up to 600-300 A, secondary nominal current 5 A, 2A or 1 A, accuracy class 1, optional with copper tube or snap-on mounting.

Tube current transformer, resin hardened (ASG)

Current transformers with circular primary conductor for primary nominal currents from 50 A up to 300 A, secondary nominal current 5 A, 2 A or 1 A, accuracy class 1, with flexible secondary connection leads, nominal cross section of the connection leads 2.5 mm², measuring system resin hardened Polyurethan.

Plug-in current transformer (ASK/CTB)

All fixing materials are included in the deliveries. Optional is the supply of the primary bus bar chrome nickel-plated conductors conforming to the bus bar window, inclusive of screws DIN 933, complete with nuts, U-discs and springs for the mounting onto bus bars or similar components.

Current transformers for fuse rails, switchable (NH 2U)

Secondary change-over current transformers for fuse rails for primary nominal currents from 200-100 A up to 600-300 A, secondary nominal current 5 A or 1 A, accuracy class 3.
Secondary connections in excess of 4 mm require jacks for direct mounting onto the contact rail of low voltage high performance fuses with contact knives integrated in the NH-fuse set, according to DIN 43620/1.
NH current transformers are fitted with 2 or 4 tip sockets and can be operated constantly under load.
Idling voltage at secondary primary nominal current 5 A approx. 3-6 V and a secondary nominal current 1 A approx. 13.25 V.
Available in 3 different sizes (NH 1, NH 2, NH 3).
